Bio

I was born in New Haven, Connecticut and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I went on to attend medical school which led to a fruitful 30+ year career as a physician. I have been a singer-songwriter, performing for more than 40 years, following my life-long passion of composing music, writing lyrics, and playing live shows. My discography began in my teenage years and continues today, where music becomes a vehicle to express my thoughts, feelings and observations about the world. To me, love, humor, social activism and change are all intertwined. Because of this, I choose to write a variety of songs that are heartfelt, make you think, and challenge paradigms. I want people to feel just a little bit better for having listened to my music. And if you sing along? Great! Because when we sing together, the world gets just a little bit better.
